Saturday Morning 9am! Come down to the water’s edge with loppers, rakes, gloves and eye protection. We’ll be actively opening up the beach area for better access for sailing, kiting, paddling. Lunch after for volunteers! Directions are best found on Google Maps, but from Portland: Exit at the weigh station exit after the first Cascade Locks exit, go past weigh station onto the Hwy 30 frontage rd which is a right turn before you get on the on ramp back onto I-84. Then when you get to Herman Cr, take a left on Forest Lane the a right on Industrial Parkway and follow all the way down to the beach. From Hood River: Go east to exit 47, then follow frontage rd west and then back over the freeway to Industrial Park Rd, follow to the river.
